Change the active sentence into passive or vice versa
1. The cake is made for you.
Jawaban dari soal ini adalah “I make the cake for you”.
Perintah dari soal adalah mengubah kalimat aktif menjadi pasif atau sebaliknya.
Kalimat di atas memiliki pola to be + V3 (is made) yang merupakan pola dari Simple Present Tense bentuk pasif. Maka, kita akan ubah menjadi bentuk aktif dari Simple Present Tense dengan rumus S + V1 s/es + O/C. Berikut adalah aturan penggunaan kata kerja:
V1 : I, you, we, they
V1 s/es : He, she, it

Objek dalam kalimat aktif adalah subjek kalimat pasif yaitu “the cake”. Terakhir, tambahkan pelengkap yaitu “for you”.
Kalimat aktifnya menjadi, “I make the cake for you.” (Aku membuat kue itu untukmu)
