2. Subjek di kalimat aktif menjadi objek di kalimat pasif. Sebaliknya, objek di kalimat aktif menjadi subjek di kalimat pasif. Jadi, nanti yang menjadi subjek di kalimat pasifnya adalah “Tom”, sedangkan “the teacher” berubah menjadi objek.

Kata kerja punish ditulis dalam bentuk verb 3, yaitu punished.
